Victoria has always been a daughter whose life experience has given her unusual clarity.  It has been a joy to have those meaningful, thoughtful, (and sometimes thought provoking discussions) few mothers and daughters have with such complete honesty.  She is my daughter, my friend, my shopping buddy, the "other" mother, my navigator, my confidante, my partner in crime.  While she has taken me on what has sometimes felt like the roller coaster ride of my life, I wouldn't trade a moment of it.  It's been a great ride, one full of laughter, shared sadness and regret, solidarity, strength, respect and love.  What mother could ask for more?
